The Mask Show

All must be familiar with the mask picture. I just noticed 9/10 people wearing either kerchief or a mask. But some people wear it just for fashion. Swine Flu is nothing but a H1N1 virus which can be treated if we diagnose in early stages. These masks doesn't prevent you from being affected. As the flu is now spreading by people-to-people to contact, the infection primarily spreads when a person comes in close contact with an infected person. The simple way to minimise the risk is by covering the mouth and nose while coughing and sneezing and wearing a mask while going close to the infected person. So this doen't require a constant wear of mask.

1st July - 6th August

My post is all about capital of ORRISA. As a capital I imagined the city like Chennai... But my entire dream was shattered when I stepped in to BBSR in vishaka express... Then I came to know that in bbsr no public transport... Really we spent a lot for auto to go to zoo, park etc and etc... Then one more interesting thing is the cows there.. You can find lots and lots of cows... Even if vehicle horns loudly the cows dare to move. My favorite hangout is kalinga cottage. One fine Sunday we went to restaurant called “Hare Krishna”. We were hungry to the core. I ordered tomato rice. And was eagerly waiting for it. The moment the waiter brought the plate, I was totally disappointed. They had mixed half boiled rice and tomato sauce.. Some how managed one month.

Places I visited:
• First weekend: Ram mandhir, Pantaloons and Big bazaar
We had a good dharshan in Ram mandhir. Then to pantaloons, where I was shocked by seeing the price of a jean top which would be worth for just Rs.200. But the price in the tag was Rs.1670.
• Third weekend: Nicco park, coffee day, Smokin Joe’s and Nandankanan zoo
I enjoyed a lot in Nicco Park. Especially in water coaster. Then in nandankanan zoo, saw white tigers for the first time.
• Fourth weekend: lingaraj temple
• Fifth weekend: The great tour to Dhauli, Konark, Chilka lake and Puri
Dhauli was indeed a great place. It was from here that King Ashok set out to spread Buddhism. Konark was really superb. But the sad story behind it is only few remains of the temple stand there due to improper maintenance. Then we went to Chilka Lake. Three hours boating included sea mouth and dolphin mouth. We were lucky to see 6 dolphins.

So these were the only days of entertainment in Bhubaneshwar.

????? WILL V REACH THE DESTINATION

I travel frequently through bus. On the way irrespective of laymen ,cars, lorries or buses will wait for a majestic train to pass by. As trumpets were blown before a king come, we can hear the rattle before the train come. I had a great love to travel in train.Earlier when i think of a train, the enjoyment with the unknown desis in our compartment ,the pantry car, the lovely scenes we see while travelling come to my mind...
"All that begins well ends well" ..But
But now ??? .....Will anyone reach the destination for sure???????. This great question arises in my mind..
The recent Samjaudha train blasts, the mumbai blasts,..etc has invoked a great fear in the minds of people.
I not only doubt whether i can reach the destination in train but also in our journey to PEACE.

"SAY NO TO TERROSISM,NO TO RACISM......." This list goes on... But the real 'NO's to such problems are unknown..............so "CROSS THE RIVER BEFORE YOU INSULT THE CROCODILE..."
